Chanel and the Nicole Kidman ad
Nicole Kidman starred as the new face of Chanel No. 5 in a film advertisment produced by Baz Luhrmann, the director of Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliet.
Filmed in Sydney, Kidman takes on the role of the most famous woman in the world while Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro plays a struggling writer in love with her.
The stunning Chanel advert lasts three minutes, but took months to produce and cost Chanel somewhere in the region of £30 million, making it one of most expensive commercials ever produced.
