RAY-BAN 8301 AVIATOR CARBON FIBRE

The Ray-Ban Carbon Fibre range is new for 2009, and includes the Ray-Ban Tech 8301,
with the classic Aviator styling. An incredibly light frame, with flexible, carbon fibre arms.

RAY-BAN 8303 CARBON FIBRE

The 8303 is incredibly light, due to the combination of the ultra-light Ray-Ban carbon fibre arms and rimless lens design.

RAY-BAN 8304 CARBON FIBRE

Very similar to the 8303 in terms of weight, the 8304 is another rimless design, with a slightly shallower, more angular lens shape.

RAY-BAN 8305 CARBON FIBRE

Th Carbon Fibre 8305 is a semi-rimless frame with large wrapped lenses, giving the wearer unrivalled protection from the sun's harmful rays.

The carbon fibre frames are made from one of the most advanced performance materials commercially available, giving them an incredible strength-to-weight ratio. They are cut from carbon sheets consisting of 7 different layers, 5 of which are carbon fibres mixed with resin. This makes them light and strong, yet highly flexible.

The monoblock Ray-Ban hinges incorporate no welding in the front frame, so they can survive a lifetime of opening and closing.

Finally, the Ray-Ban lenses are formed through an advanced chemical hardening process and can withstand the Drop Ball test- a 5/8 inch steel ball dropped onto the lens from a height of 50 inches.
