A bit of Ray-Ban movie history
The popularity of Ray-Ban sunglasses was greatly hepled by their appearance in numerous Hollywood blockbusters. Many people's first sighting of Ray-Bans on the silver screen would have been in 80's film Risky Business with Tom Cruise or later still, Men in Black with Will Smith. In actual fact, they appeared as early as 1961 in the classic movie, Breakfast at Tiffany's. The brand was further catapulted into the public eye when John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd worn them in the Blues Brothers, in fact, they hardly took them off!
