Modern RayBans
Modern Ray-Ban sunglasses are made from carbon-fibre, like the Ray-Ban 8309 above. Carbon-fibre frames are very strong and very light. The frame is cut from a carbon sheet that is made from seven different layers of carbon fibre mixed with resin, giving it its incredible strength. They are also very flexible and resistant to snapping and shattering. The monoblock hinges don't require any welding, making them less likely to break, snap or simply suffer wear-and-tear.
