Based on the Aviator, the Warrior lens is considerably wider and wrapped, offering excellent peripheral
protection from sunlight. Combined with the tapered arms, the Warrior is a modern version of the old classic.

The Ray-Ban Warrior is a more recent addition to the Ray-Ban range of Aviator style sunglasses. The Warrior is distinct from the classic Aviator in two main ways. Firstly, the classic teardrop shape of the lens has been modified, so that the Warrior lens is considerably wider, thus offering better protection from sunlight entering the eye sockets from peripheral lines of vision. Secondly, the arms are altogether thicker, in addition to being tapered and curved, thereby aesthetically balancing them with the larger lenses. In short, the Ray-Ban Warrior has taken the Aviator lens, enhanced it, and combined it with a more modern and striking frame.
